Jann Klose comes to UPenn to launch new site

Throughout the Fall 2012 semester, a group of Wharton students have been working hard transforming www.LivingWellwithEpilepsy.com. The new site will still have a blog component, but will provide a more comprehensive resource to the millions affected by epilepsy.

The all new Living Well With Epilepsy will launch during Epilepsy Awareness Month. You can expect to see the change around mid-month.

To celebrate, the students will throw a launch party on November 16. The event will be held on the University of Pennsylvania campus, including entertainment by featured GRAMMY-nominated artist, Jann Klose, who also sings in the movie, GREETINGS FROM TIM BUCKLEY. The students and founder will commemorate this transformation with contributors, community leaders, medical professionals and people living with Epilepsy from throughout the Philadelphia area.

Epilepsy is a chronic neurologic disorder with many possible causes that affects more than 65 million people around the world. The prevalence and mortality statistics are comparable to those of breast cancer. More importantly, the death toll resulting from epilepsy and seizure-related causes this past year was higher than the number of deaths resulting from AIDS-related causes at the height of the AIDS crisis.
