When Michael Gomoll lost his son Joseph Martin Gomoll suddenly in March of 2010 to Dravet’s Syndrome, a rare form of epilepsy, he decided to take action. Gomoll turned his pain into an opportunity for those living with epilepsy. He established The Joseph Gomoll Foundation to honor his son and since it’s inception, the Foundation has begun work on the Joey’s Song project.
Music was the centerpiece of Joey’s world, so the Foundation will be releasing a series of CDs that will be called “Joey’s Song”. The CDs will feature rare and unreleased songs from major recording acts from around the world. See the list below to find out if your favorite band is participating.
All the money raised by the Foundation, beyond the cost of production, will go directly to the charities named on the Joey’s Song website.
