Submitting a personal epilepsy story on Living Well With Epilepsy can have a positive impact on you, the storyteller, and the many people who will learn from your experience. We publish personal epilepsy stories as well as interviews, book reviews, event previews, updates in epilepsy care and more.

Epilepsy Story Submission Guidelines

  1. All epilepsy stories should be between 500 and 600 words (about 1 page).
  2. We only accept stories that relate in some way to the epilepsy experience.  This can include personal stories from caregivers, living with epilepsy, researchers, providers, etc. Or it can include interviews, book reviews, event previews, updates in epilepsy care. All are acceptable as long as they are relevant to those living with epilepsy.
  3. Be sure to include a photo. Any photo you submit, you must own or have the rights to share.
