On April 14, at 8:00 pm ET, Living Well With Epilepsy goes live with our first Twitter Chat. The featured guest will be TJ Parker, CEO and Co-Founder of PillPack. If you haven’t heard of this company yet, check out the video below.
What makes PillPack unique?
Okay, let’s take a minute and check out the video.
Can you imagine the possibilities?
No more packing huge bottles of meds when you travel. No more worrying that your meds will fall out of the case on the way to the gym. Amazing.
Customer service is really important to TJ Parker. “One of the things we found before starting PillPack is that retail pharmacists rarely have the tools or time to communicate with their customers. For example, before we started PillPack, I talked to a young woman with epilepsy who had been on the same medication for years. Most of the time her script would go through with no problem, but occasionally it would be denied, with no explanation. She said she would feel completely powerless and uninformed while her doctor, pharmacist, and insurance company went through some “black-box website” to get the script cleared and refilled,” said Parker.

I thoroughly enjoyed #livingwellchat tonight. It gave me hope for #positiveseizuremanagement through medication management.
