More than 200% increase in traffic to epilepsy site

Sometimes it helps to stop and take a look at your progress. Your comments on the new site have been amazing, so I was curious to know if more people are visiting the site.

I wanted to know if the changes to the site have brought more people to learn about epilepsy, and is the site helping more people with epilepsy find the resources they need. I found that the number of visitors and the number of visits has increased more than 200 percent!

Apples to Apples
I took a look at Google Analytics to see how the web traffic to the old site compared to the new site. A comparison of December 2011 (old site) to December 2012 (new site) is as close to an “Apples to Apples” comparison as I could get. Below you will see that both the number of visitors and the number of visits have more than doubled.

Dec 1, 2011  – Jan 2, 2012
539 people
672 visits

Dec 1, 2012 – Jan 2, 2013
1,221 people
1,517 Visits

Let me know what you think of the changes and don’t forget to complete the survey.

I visit more because I know the site is here and it’s consistent. I would like to receive an email update. Is there a way to be on a list?
